For our student-led conferences we are supposed to reflect on the following “I Can” statements.

I can add and subtract negative numbers.

I can multiply and divide negative numbers.

I can perform the distributive property.

I can combine like terms using the distributive property.

I can evaluate positive, zero and negative exponents.

I can simplify expressions using exponents.

I can do all of these things very well. I don’t have any trouble with any of those six things. I would give myself an A for this nine weeks. I have tried hard and gotten good grades on all my assignments.
